The location was convenient for access to downtown, and the check-in process was straightforward. We had a unique experience when we got to see a film crew from Ozark right next to us while enjoying a surprisingly comfy bed and a clean room. The pool area was a great spot to relax, and the hot tub was a nice bonus for winding down after a long day. 😊

Decent location but room conditions are lacking

The hotel was conveniently located, making it easy to get around, but the conditions of the rooms left a lot to be desired. Upon entering, the rooms had strong unpleasant odors that were hard to ignore. The amenities could be improved significantly, especially the cleanliness and maintenance, which were subpar during my stay.

The room was just okay. It had a bit of a worn-down feel, and some stuff looked like it needed fixing. The cleanliness was a bit lacking, and there was definitely a smell that didn't sit right. However, the bed was somewhat comfy, so I at least got a little sleep. The location was nice, though, being close to downtown.

Had a great time with friends at this budget spot! We visited Zoo Atlanta and the local parks, which were super fun. The staff was friendly and made check-in easy. Cute little place, close to everything we wanted to see!

Comfortable bed, convenient location, with free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception making it easy to explore the city and rest after a long day. The location is just 7 km from the nearest airport, which was a bonus for us.

I had high hopes for Budgetel Inn & Suites in Forest Park due to its location. Riding in, it seemed easily accessible. The check-in experience wasn't too bad, although it took longer than expected. The room itself had decent size. Unfortunately, the smell hit me as soon as I walked in. It reeked of smoke, which was a huge letdown. I asked for a different room. thankfully, it was resolved quickly, but the second room smelled like weed. Not appealing at all. I saw trash in the hallways and some parts of the property looked neglected. The maintenance staff did answer my concerns quickly, but I felt like I had to keep reminding them of issues. The free breakfast was just bread and coffee, really disappointing. I wish they would have more options. The outdoor noise was intrusive. I could hear conversations from outside easily. So, while the location is convenient, the cleanliness and maintenance definitely need work.

The room had a strong smell of smoke and weed, making it unpleasant the moment we walked in. Check-in was a long wait, and we didn’t feel welcomed when a maintenance guy had to assist us just to get into our room. There was visible trash laying around, and noises from outside kept us up. Although the proximity to downtown was a plus, the overall experience was disappointing and definitely not worth the cost.

This place was just an excellent fit for a weekend stopover in Forest Park with good value for cost. One nice thing was a really cool guy who helped me out with some great ideas to enjoy my stay. If you need a good chat and some positive vibes, seek him out during your visit.
